It adopts the rotating seal, up and down skip, single layer kiln body, which are suitable for national conditions and lower cost requirement. The fuel could be all kinds of gas, solid and liquid fuel. The alternate firing and preheating between two kiln chambers make full use of heat energy. Its main advantage are high activity products and low energy consumption (ton lime per 130 KGSC energy consumption).

Parallel flow calcination is the key of twin-shaft lime kiln; it's also proved the importance of the parallel flow calcination in producing high activity lime.
